register

The register command allocates and registers top-level .sns domains for the signing wallet.

Usage

sns [--url <URL>] register <KEYPAIR_PATH> <SPACE> <DOMAIN>...

Arguments

<KEYPAIR_PATH>

Required. Path to the buyer's Solana keypair JSON file. The keypair signs each registration transaction.

<SPACE>

Required. Number of bytes to allocate to each domain registry, from 1000 through 10000 inclusive.

<DOMAIN>...

Required. One or more top-level .sns domains. Labels can contain lowercase letters, digits, hyphens, and underscores. Subdomains are not accepted.

Options

-u, --url <URL>

Use this RPC endpoint instead of RPC_URL or the default public mainnet-beta endpoint at https://api.mainnet-beta.solana.com.

Output

After processing the requested domains, the command prints a table with these columns:

ColumnDescription
DomainThe submitted top-level domain.
TransactionThe confirmed registration transaction signature.
ExplorerA mainnet Solana Explorer link for the transaction.

Cautions

Registrations are submitted sequentially and are not atomic. An earlier registration can succeed before a later one fails.

The command uses the default mainnet USDC payment path. Treat the keypair file as a sensitive credential.
